Biography

Hiroshi Yoshikawa received the B.S. degree, the M.S. degree and the Ph.D. from Nihon University, all in electrical engineering, in 1981, 1983 and 1985, respectively. He joined the faculty at Nihon University in 1985 where he currently holds the position of Professor of Computer Engineering. From Dec. 1988 to Apr. 1990, he was a research affiliate of MIT Media Laboratory. He is a member of SPIE, Optica, ITE (Institute of Television Engineers of Japan), OSJ (Optical Society of Japan), and HODIC. His current research interests are in holographic printer, electro-holography, computer generated holograms, display holography and computer graphics.
